Losing one’s faith

It’s funny how sometimes everything is working just fine and so we brag ourselves of being firm, sticking to our beliefs, being ourselves no matter what; however, when things  get a little shaky, we do not seem to be that strong and firm anymore.
I bet everybody has gone through their times of gaining and also their times of losing, and I even bet that only a few stuck to their beliefs, and were strong and sane all the way through the good and hard times. The most difficult is to keep calm in the storm, to keep sane when it seems that there is no hope left.
Yet,  I believe  that only a few get totally lost on their way, no longer going back to their right track. Of course we get crazy, scream and shout, cry our lungs out (especially if you are a woman- and that I speak for my own experiences) and grieve and moan, but in the end we get our feet back on the ground and go back to believing, to being strong and firm, to sticking to our beliefs and being ourselves no matter what. Those few ones who cannot get their feet back on the ground are the ones who need more faith, or maybe that have never got any faith.
Thus, the most important is to have faith. If you have that safe place to go back to, that safe place that only we know, in the back of our minds, or hearts, or even souls, you never get totally lost, you always have where to go back to. That means that if you have that place, if you have faith, you will always find your way back home. Therefore, it is essential to be strong, to hang in there, as some might say, until it is time to go back. So, keep on believing, always!
